Macon man charged with aggravated assault after double shooting at Macon apartments

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting at an apartment complex on Mercer University Drive.

According to a sheriff’s news release, Antiquilla London, 26, and Quincy Smith, 20, both were shot during a dispute with Dexter Montrez Holloway, 26, about 4 p.m. at Macon Gardens Apartments, 3601 Mercer University Drive.

Holloway was taken into custody and was questioned by investigators, Lt. Sean DeFoe said. Holloway was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Bibb County jail at 8:34 p.m. Friday night, with a bail amount of $33,400.

London and Smith were taken to a local hospital and are listed in stable condition.
