College Hill Alliance staff named to Leadership Georgia

Heather Holder Pendergast, executive director of the College Hill Alliance, has been named to Leadership Georgia’s Class of 2014.

Pendergast, a graduate of Georgia College & State University, has been with the College Hill Alliance since January 2013. She is a steering committee member of One Macon, an ex-officio board member of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, an ex-officio member of the Macon Economic Development Commission, the entrepreneurship chairwoman and executive committee member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association and a member of the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Small Business Task Force.

The 42-year-old statewide leadership program trains and builds a network of leaders from across the state in different occupations and is affiliated with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, according to a news release.

The leadership training program, which runs from January to November, provides 63 chosen participants various sessions throughout the year on issues affecting the state.
