Cosby to perform Mother’s Day show in Macon

Comedy legend Bill Cosby is coming to Macon.

Tickets for Cosby’s “Far From Finished” tour performance at the City Auditorium on Mother’s Day will go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. The show will take place May 11 at 7 p.m.

The Emmy-winning Cosby has been among America’s most popular comedians for decades, as a TV star with series including “I Spy” and “The Cosby Show;” as a producer for “Fat Albert” and “Cosby Kids;” and as an author with “Fatherhood,” “Time Flies” and his current best-seller, “I Didn’t Ask to be Born (But I’m Glad I Was).”

Cosby has received the Kennedy Center Honors, the Medal of Freedom (America’s highest civilian honor), the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and the Marian Anderson Award. His comedy albums have won five Grammy Awards.

His “Far From Finished” show recently aired on Comedy Central.

Tickets can be purchased at the Macon Coliseum box office or through Ticketmaster at or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets will range from $32 to $75, plus fees.
