Wilson also leaving, headed to Southern California

ATHENS - Jeremy Pruitt will not have any holdovers from Todd Grantham's defensive staff.

Defensive line coach Chris Wilson is departing after just one year at Georgia, taking the same job at Southern California. Two sources close to the program confirmed the report, first reported by the web site coachingsearch.com.

Wilson did not return a text message earlier in the night seeking comment.

This follows news that inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti was taking a job with the Washington Redskins, where he worked for a decade before joining Georgia's staff in 2011.

Head coach Mark Richt said earlier on Wednesday that Wilson and Olivadotti were welcome back to the staff, and had indications they would stay. But Pruitt will now be able to hire all three of his position coaches.
