Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two suspects in connection to a personal armed robbery early Sunday.

Moses Greene, 21, and Steven Lamont Irvin, 21, both of Macon, are being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on armed robbery charges, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Irvin was also arrested on a State Court bench warrant, unrelated to the armed robbery charge, the release states.

According to the release, a woman was sitting in her vehicle at the Sleep Inn, 3928 River Place Drive, charging her phone at about 4:20 a.m. when two armed men approached her vehicle. The men took her purse and cell phone, then fled the scene.

A deputy stopped a vehicle matching the suspects’ description and arrested Greene and Irvin. The stolen items were found in their possession, the release states.
