Title pawn business to add vehicle sales in Macon

A title pawn business on Gray Highway plans to add a vehicle sales business.

The Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission is expected to consider Monday a conditional-use application to allow auto sales at 980 Gray Highway.

The lot will be owned and operated by South Country Capital Management and will be co-located with Auto Cash of Gray Highway LLC, according a letter from the company filed with the zoning office.

“We expect the lot to be small in size with no more than 5-15 vehicles on (the) property at any one time,” the letter states. “It will be staffed by 1 to 2 employees.”

The business would be open every day but Sunday.

The commission meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the 10th floor conference room, Willie C. Hill City Hall Annex, 682 Cherry St.
