Derelict home demolished in south Macon

The abandoned house at 606 Rutherford Avenue was torn down by Macon-Bibb County today. The houses at 614 and 638 Rutherford Avenue were also scheduled to be demolished by Macon-Bibb County. The three make 61 abandoned houses removed since July 1, 2013 by the government.
