Milledgeville woman killed in Baldwin County accident

A 64-year-old Milledgeville woman died in a two-car accident Monday morning in Baldwin County.

Janice Scruggs was driving a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria that collided with a 2007 BMW in the 600 block of the Gordon Highway, also known as Ga. 243, according to Georgia State Patrol Operator Troy Flury.

Scruggs suffered fatal injuries, while the other driver was injured and taken to Oconee Regional Medical Center.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating how the accident happened.
