Man shot during late night party in Unionville

A 34-year-old man was shot during an argument at a party in Macon’s Unionville neighborhood early Monday.

Pierre Williams was wounded in the foot and driven by friends to Coliseum Medical Centers, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Williams was at a party near Cedar and Moseley avenues when an unidentified man pulled a gun and started shooting, the release stated.

Investigators are trying to identify the shooter.
