1. Friday night test: Georgia takes its 6-5 record into a game Friday at George Washington, which is 11-2 overall and 7-0 at home. The Bulldogs are 0-3 away from home.

2. Strong at home: Auburn has been better than expected with a 7-3 start. The Tigers are 7-2 at home, and they have solid wins over Murray State, Clemson and Boston College. Auburn hosts Florida A&M on Saturday.

3. Not a strong slate: Conference play begins next week, so the rest of the Saturday schedule is not great. Actually, it's not even good (Tusculum at Tennessee, Richmond at Florida, Texas-Pan American at Texas A&M, Long Beach State at Missouri, Robert Morris at Alabama, Rhode Island at LSU, Northeastern at Vanderbilt, Texas-San Antonio at Arkansas, Dayton at Mississippi).
