Burglar ransacks Warner Robins convenience store

WARNER ROBINS -- Police are investigating the burglary of a convenience store early Monday.

Someone broke into the Express Stop No. 2 at 914 Russell Parkway at 4:34 a.m. by throwing a rock or brick through the front glass door and then removing the glass, according to a police report.

The burglar ransacked the store during the incident, the report states.

Tabitha Pugh, public information officer for Warner Robins police, wrote in an email that a newspaper carrier noticed the front door was broken and called 911.

A description of the suspect was not available.
