A map on the front page of Sunday’s Telegraph gave an incorrect impression about the extent of soil contamination on and near the site of a proposed Riverside Drive development. The identified soil contamination does not extend to the east bank of the Ocmulgee River. According to Kevin Chambers, a spokesman for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, it does not reach as far as the low-water bank of the river.
