Police investigating armed robbery at Macon convenience store

Macon police are investigating of reported armed robbery at the Circle K on Romeiser Drive early Thursday morning.

Macon police are investigating a reported armed robbery at the Circle K on Romeiser Drive early Thursday morning.

About a half dozen patrol cars headed down Eisenhower Parkway to investigate shortly after 6:40 a.m.

Although the call was dispatched as a personal robbery, a Macon police sergeant cordoned off the parking lot of the store as the questioned a woman inside the store.

No further information was immediately available.
