Police arrested a 27-year-old Macon man Wednesday and charged him with a killing that happened at 1291 Rocky Creek Road on Nov. 16, 2011.

Two years of investigative work led to the arrest of Gregory Duane Londy, according to a Macon police news release.

The victim, Michael Dewayne Henderson, 39, was shot several times in front of his home.

“This dedicated group of investigators never gave up on solving this murder,” Macon Police Chief Mike Carswell said in the release. “Over the course of two years they pursued Michael Henderson’s killer, never quitting until they made the arrest.”

This is Londy’s 19th arrest since 2005, the release stated.
