Employment workshops to be held in Forsyth next month

The Georgia Department of Labor will provide employment-related workshops in Monroe County beginning next month.

The free workshops will be held 10 a.m.-noon on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month beginning Jan. 8 at the new Monroe County Workforce Development Center, 89 Washington Drive in Forsyth, according to a news release.

Topics will include completing applications and resume writing.

Also, an open house for the center will be held 4-6 p.m., Dec. 15, at the new office.
