478 Bibb Fund awards three grants

The 478 Bibb Fund awarded grants to three local groups, officials announced this week.

Local entrepreneurs Rachel Sabbath Gerrity and Ashley Dunwody received a $2,000 micro grant to open a new business, Hometown Yoga, that will open Monday on Forsyth Road.

In addition, Joshua Newby was awarded a grant for the Digidot Mobile App to assist with an upcoming Kickstarter campaign, while John Harrison of the Macon Disc Golf Club was awarded a grant for signs and water coolers at the Bowden disc golf course.

The 478 Bibb Fund was established by local entrepreneurs and business leaders to spur innovation and entrepreneurship in Middle Georgia. For more information about the grants, visit www.478bibbfund.com.
