Gunfire reported in Macon

Macon police responded Tuesday to a call of shots fired.

The incident happened about 6 p.m. along the 900 block of Williams Street East, according to a police incident report.

The responding officer met with a man who said he was watching TV in his home when he heard about five shots go off.

The officer observed two bullet holes in the front of his house, according to the report.

A neighbor said he witnessed two men in dark clothing shooting at each other.
