A Bibb County grand jury has charged three men in the death of a man who was killed on his front porch last year.

The grand jury indicted Nathan Taylor, Nicholas L. Taylor and Willie Lee Bostick on a charge of malice murder. They’re accused of shooting Walter Henley to death Aug. 18, 2012.

Henley, 59, had called the sheriff’s office that night asking for trespassers to be removed from his Fulton Mill Road home after an argument involving money and a car.

He had been on the porch, on his recliner overlooking a chicken pen, when someone came looking for him.

The indictment and the district attorney’s office said one of the suspect’s names is spelled Bostick. Deputies earlier identified the man’s name as Bostic.

Deputies initially charged Bostick with murder, then discovered Nathan Taylor often used the name of Bostick, his brother. That arrest warrant was withdrawn last year. The indictment does not say how Nicholas Taylor and Bostick came to be charged in the murder.
