An armed man robbed a Flash Foods convenience store in Macon early Tuesday.

The holdup happened just after 3 a.m. at the store, located at 4314 Pio Nono Ave., according to a police incident report.

An employee told police a black man wearing a red “hood,” a gray shirt, blue jeans, black gloves, and a black and white bandana walked into the store and demanded money.

The man "racked" his gun, followed the two employees working in the store to their registers and had them open them. He left with about $275 in cash, the report said.

Police got a copy of the security footage, and they also found an ejected cartridge near the condiments stand.
