Houston County sets records
The Houston County Bears set several school records during their 61-7 victory over Greenbrier in GHSA Region 2-AAAAA football action on Saturday afternoon.
Place-kicker Jordan Strevig became the Bears all-time leading scorer, and quarterback Taylor Boyett eclipsed the program record for passing yards in a career.
The 61 points scored by the Bears is also a team record, besting the old total of 54, which was achieved in a victory over Pike County all the way back in 1992.
