Bibb County grand jurors have indicted a 36-year-old man accused of robbing the Tobesofkee Lake Store at gunpoint in June.

Christopher Darnell Heath, of Bel Air Drive, is charged with armed robbery, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Heath allegedly threatened a clerk at the store, located at 6024 Mosely Dixon Road, with a gun on June 10 and took cash.

Witnesses blocked the alleged getaway car and helped Bibb County deputies apprehend Heath, who previously pleaded guilty to armed robbery in 2002, according to the indictment.

Although authorities initially sought a second man in connection with the heist, they later determined Heath acted alone, according to the district attorney's office.

Heath is being held at the county jail on $66,200 bond, according to jail records.
