Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 21-year-old Macon man Tuesday on allegations he forced a woman into her home, robbed her at knife-point and stole her car.

Darius Algernon Tucker, of Liberty Ridge Drive, is charged with armed robbery, burglary and theft, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Tucker allegedly was at the woman's home in the 700 block of Ell Street on Aug. 13 when she arrived home at about 11 p.m. When she walked to her back door to unlock it, Tucker ran from around the house and followed her inside, demanding money, according to a Macon police report.

The woman reportedly told Tucker she could drive to the bank to get money and Tucker snatched her keys, saying he was going to put her in the trunk. Tucker ended up leaving her behind, but took her Ford Fusion and her debit card, according to the report.

Authorities later arrested Tucker at the Bank of America branch on Pio Nono Avenue, according to police.

Tucker is being held at the county jail without bond, according to jail records.
