Ramsey earns monthly ACC honor

Clemson freshman and former John Milledge standout Ashlan Ramsey was named the ACC’s co-golfer of the month Tuesday, along with Duke’s  Yu Liu, according to Clemson’s athletics website.

Ramsey led the Tigers to a pair of top-five finishes in the Ruth Chris Tar Heel Invitational and the Landfall Tradition during the month. The Tigers are currently ranked 13th by Golfweek.

At the Tar Heel Invitational, Ramsey earned her second collegiate individual title. She also won at Furman’s Lady Paladin Invitational in September. Ramsey currently the ACC in scoring average (70.8), and she has finished tied for second and tied for eighth in her other two events.
