Macon man arrested on charges of rape, sodomy

Macon police arrested a 21-year-old man Friday on charges of rape and aggravated sodomy.

Patrick Rashad Threatt of Macon was being held at the Bibb County jail Monday without bond, according to jail records. The incident happened Oct. 19 on Heard Avenue, according to the arrest warrant.

The mother of the 16-year-old victim reported the case to police Oct. 22. About midnight on Oct. 19, Threatt forced himself on the teenager while she was sleeping, the mother told police.

The victim was taken to the Crescent House Oct. 22. The Crescent House provides services to children who are victims of child abuse.
