A man was shot in the thigh while riding in a car traveling on Interstate 16 westbound early Sunday morning.
Michael Garner, a 23-year-old man who lives on Lochlyn Place in Warner Robins, spoke with Macon police from Houston Medical Center, where he was driven by friends after the shooting, the incident report said.
The shooting occurred around 2 a.m., on I-16 west, after Garner was involved in a fight at Club Envy and the Marathon gas station at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, he told police.
Garner describes himself as an artist for Task Force Entertainment on his Facebook page.
Neither Garner nor a witness contacted by Macon police had any further information regarding the shooting, according to the report.
