If don’t wake up to frost Thursday, you might have another chance Saturday.

The National Weather Service warned residents of Monroe, Jones, Baldwin, Jasper, Putnam and Hancock counties and northward that cold-sensitive outdoor plants could be in jeopardy from 2a.m.-9a.m. Thursday.

The Frost Advisory is mainly along and north of a line from La Grange to Forsyth to Warrenton, including Milledgeville, Eatonton, Forsyth and Gray.

The overnight low for Macon is expected to be about 39 degrees Thursday morning, but could be as low as 37 degrees early Saturday, when frost could be more widespread.
