A Bibb sheriff’s deputy returned a lost wallet to a 33-year-old Macon woman, after it was found by a family walking to Chick-Fil-A late Saturday night.

The family met the deputy at the restaurant on 5920 Zebulon Road, the incident report said.

The wallet contained $100, a credit card, and an identification card. The deputy used the identification to find the address belonging to the wallet’s owner. He traveled to the address and returned the wallet to her. She said she lost it the day before and that it appeared that everything in it was accounted for, the report said.
