Retirement community residents suffer lunchtime burglary

Macon police officers responded Friday to burglaries occurring at the Pinegate retirement community at 300 Charter Blvd.

Multiple residents reported missing money from their rooms after locking their doors and going to lunch. When they returned they found their doors were unlocked or damaged, the incident report said.

The responding officer provided the contact person at the retirement community a case card.
