A 17-year-old admitted to Macon police that he pointed a gun in his mothers face and told her he would kill her, according to a police report.
The incident occurred late Saturday night in the 2400 block of Tredway Drive, the report said.
Officers responded and found the teen fleeing from his mothers residence, dropping the gun along the way. He was found wearing black shorts and carrying a MAFIA shirt in his hand, the report said.
His mother told police her son became upset when she confronted him about empty drug bags in his room.
He also admitted to belonging to the M4L gang, whose members wear black and green, the report said.
He is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a minor, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and criminal participation in a street gang. He is currently being held at the Bibb County jail.
