Pedestrian critically injured in accident on Eisenhower

A Macon man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday night while he was walking on Eisenhower Parkway.

Donna Davis, 55, was taken off life support Saturday and is not expected to survive, said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

Jones said Davis was struck at about 9:03 p.m. near Anthony Terrace, He said Davis was wearing dark clothing.

Jones said the Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident, but he did not expect there to be any charges against the driver. A dispatcher at the State Patrol post in Forsyth said there was no information available about the accident.
