Famous faces to be grand marshals for Warner Robins Christmas parade

Staff reportOctober 16, 2013

One of the nation’s favorite weathermen will be a grand marshal for this year’s Christmas parade in Warner Robins.

Al Roker, of NBC’s “Today Show,” will share the honor with his wife, Perry native Deborah Roberts, a correspondent for ABC News, the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday.

The annual parade, in its 56th year, will be held Dec. 7. Roker and Roberts will be featured in the first parade unit, which will step off at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Houston Road and Watson Boulevard.

This year’s theme is “Christmas Around the World.”
