Houston, Peach early voting set to begin

Early voting starts this week for several elections in Houston and Peach counties, including the Warner Robins mayoral race. The races will be on the Nov. 5 ballot, but voters have three weeks before then to beat the crowds to the polls.

WARNER ROBINS

Dates: Tuesday to Nov. 1, weekdays

Times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Place: City Hall, 700 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins

Races: Mayor; City Council Posts 1 (at-large), 3, 4 and 5

CENTERVILLE

Dates: Tuesday to Nov. 1, weekdays

Times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Place: City Hall; 300 E. Church St., Centerville

Race: City Council Post 2

Referendum: Whether to limit the senior tax exemption

FORT VALLEY

Dates: Monday to Nov. 1; weekdays

Times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed noon to 1 p.m.

Place: Peach County courthouse; 205 W. Church St., Fort Valley

Races: Mayor; City Council, at-large and West Ward; Utility Commission, at-large and East Ward

Referendum: Whether to serve alcohol on Sundays

BYRON

Dates: Monday to Nov. 1; weekdays

Times: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Place: Municipal complex, 401 Main St., Byron

Race: City Council Post 5
