Four children were involved in incidents off school property that led to the Wednesday arrest of a Crawford County Middle School paraprofessional, according to the Crawford County Sheriffs Office.
Carlteze James Saffold, 28, of Roberta, is charged with four counts each of sexual exploitation of children, enticing a child for indecent purposes and child molestation, according to a sheriffs office news release.
A Bibb County Superior Court judge granted Saffold a $100,000 bond Friday, according to the sheriffs office.
An investigator met with school officials Wednesday. Further investigation led to Saffolds arrest.
Sheriff Lewis Walker said authorities still are working to develop a timeline for the alleged incidents.
He declined to comment about the gender of the children, how the alleged molestation came to light and other details citing an ongoing investigation.
School Superintendent John Douglas said Saffold works as a paraprofessional at the middle school, but referred further comment to the sheriffs office.
No bond has been set for Saffold.
The GBI is assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the GBI at 987-4545 or the sheriffs office at 836-3116.
