Grisamore: Dan Jaskula Macon Whoopees

Dan Jaskula, a veteran broadcaster in the Warner Robins and Macon (Ga.) area, shares memories of the old and short-lived Macon Whoopees hockey team. The team, with one of the most beloved nicknames in all of sports, played its first game on Oct. 12, 1973 -- 40 years ago Saturday. Jaskula had season tickets and attended almost every game.
