Dixie Raley struck out 10 to help lead GMC to a 3-2 win over FPD in the Region 7-A championship game in Milledgeville.

The win guarantees a playoff spot for the Bulldogs, although the Vikings are assured of a playoff spot due to their standing in the Class A private school power rankings.

Raley limited the Vikings (18-8) to three hits, although FPD also yielded just three hits to the Bulldogs (22-3).

Keely Murner led off the seventh inning with a double and the Bulldogs loaded the bases with no outs for Kaylie Harding. Harding hit a grounder to shortstop and Murner beat the throw home to earn the walkoff win.
