Perdue to visit Lake Joy Primary

Former Gov. Sonny Perdue will visit Lake Joy Primary School Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., where he will speak to second grade students during two, 30-minute sessions, according to a news release.

Perdue served as the 81st governor of Georgia from 2003 to 2011. Born in Perry, he and his wife reside in Bonaire, according to the release.
