Armed man carjacks vehicle in east Macon

Macon police issued a lookout Monday for a sport utility vehicle taken during a carjacking on the east side of the city about midnight Sunday.

A black man, about 5 feet 4 inches, dressed in a white shirt and camouflage pants, stole a 2006 silver Infinity with dark, tinted windows near Kitchens Street and Shurling Drive. He drove away toward Gray Highway, the lookout stated.

No further information was available.
