Gail Kelly of Gray went to Macon Purrs N Paws on Saturday just to look at a kitty named Veronica. She had seen the cat's photo on the group's website, and the cat stood out among all the kitties looking for homes. The calm and cool Veronica had a better idea for Kelly. She follow the woman around the shelter and even tried to get in her purse. Kelly decided she couldn't leave without Veronica even though she was a little worried about how her doggie, Gizmo, was going to feel about having a feline sister. The shelter, in the back of the Fall Line Plaza shopping center at 1546 Rocky Creek Road, has lots more kitties looking forever homes.
