Multiple shots were fired about 11 p.m. Monday at a house on Liberty Street, according to Macon police.
A 35-year-old man said he was getting ready for bed after his homegirls had just left when he heard several knocks on his door. He shouted that he would be right there before his door was kicked in and shots were fired, according to the police report. He told officers he ran out through his back door.
Police found several bullet holes in the front and screen doors, bullet cartridges and damage to the drivers window of a truck. A handgun was found in the bed of the truck, and an officer reported smelling marijuana in the house. The man was found to have a warrant for violation of probation and was taken into custody.
