A 44-year-old man stopped at a stop sign on Grand Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when two men got out of the car behind him and attacked him, according to Macon police.
The victim reported that he initially thought he knew the men, so he got out of his car. The men attacked him, causing his eye to swell and redden, according to a police report. After the men stopped hitting him, he drove home and his family took him to a hospital. The man told police he did not know his attackers.
