Free tickets available for Mercer convocation

A limited number of free tickets are available to the general public for Friday’s convocation at Mercer, which features a speech by Andrew Young, former ambassador to the United Nations and Atlanta Mayor.

The event, which is 3 p.m. in Willingham Auditorium, is in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Mercer’s integration. Tickets can be picked up at The Grand Opera House box office on Mulberry Street between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or at the University Center box office on Mercer’s campus between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
