Two Macon teens are accused of Fridays armed robbery of a 21-year-old man near the interaction of Georgia Avenue and Arlington Place, police said.
Vanshawn Keyantony Bussey, 19, and Quamaine Curry, 18, are each being held on an armed robbery charge in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
The two are accused of robbing the man at gunpoint of cash and a cell phone before fleeing, Macon police Sgt. Melanie Hofmann stated in an email. The victim had another cell phone on him and called 911.
Police caught up with the teens after a short foot case, Hofmann stated. It was not clear which of the teens had the weapon.
