Kids Yule Love sign-ups start Thursday in Macon and Warner Robins

September 11, 2013

The Christmas season may seem a long way off, but Kids Yule Love is already in holiday mode.

The nonprofit organization will be taking applications for Christmas presents for children at two locations Thursday.

In Macon, applications will be taken at the Bloomfield recreation center, located at 4115 Lions Place, off Rocky Creek Road, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

In Warner Robins, applications will be taken at the Warner Robins Recreation Center, at 800 Watson Boulevard near City Hall, during the same hours.

The program, founded in 1986, is for children up to age 12. Children are not eligible if they turn 13 before Jan. 1, 2014, according to the Kids Yule Love website.

To apply, parents must have a copy of their Social Security card, their driver’s license and a utility bill. Parents need to bring a copy of their child’s Social Security card and birth certificate.
