Drivers headed south on Interstate 75 can no longer get on the highway near Pierce Avenue.
The new on-ramp at Lee Road opened Monday morning on Riverside Drive.
An electronic sign serves as a reminder, but southbound drivers need to be in the left lane at the traffic light on Riverside Drive or risk missing the exit.
Those heading to the highway from Pierce Avenue will now have to turn left instead of right to gain access to the southbound lanes of the highway.
Orange barrels block the former on-ramp just south of Pierce Avenue, so missing the on-ramp at Lee Road will mean a major detour.
The Georgia Department of Transportation also warns the Arkwright Road exit will be shut down Monday night into Tuesday morning.
A sign at exit 169 states the exit will be closed for construction between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
