A 39-year-old man died Wednesday morning after a train car fell on top of him in Sandersville, according to Sandersville police.
Cleston Kent, of Sandersville, was standing near the tracks on Waco Mill Road when a rail car tipped over just after 10 a.m., said Police Chief Victor Cuyler.
Kent, a truck driver for B-H Transfer Co., had been delivering a load of cargo to be loaded on the train. Its unclear what caused the train car to topple, Cuyler said.
No one else was injured.
