Goodwill Industries’ School of Health is holding an open house for prospective students and the public to tour the Macon campus of the new allied health and holistic arts career college.

The open house at 3076 Riverside Drive will begin with a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday followed by tours of the facility until 6:30 p.m. Prospective students can meet with school advisors to discuss career options and discuss programming, scheduling and financial aid.

In early August, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area announced it acquired the Macon, Milledgeville and Decatur assets of American Professional Institute.

The campus offers accredited career certification programs in cosmetology, barbering, instructor training, nail technician and massage therapy, with classes to begin Oct. 7. The School of Health also offers allied health programs at its other Macon campus at 1667 Eisenhower Parkway.
