Job fair planned for Wednesday in Warner Robins

A job fair and resource expo aimed at veterans and military spouses -- but also open to the general public -- will be held in Warner Robins Wednesday.

More than 30 companies are expected to be at the Warner Robins Air Force Base Community Hiring and Resource Expo, to be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Wellston Center, 155 Maple St. There also will be a skills workshop from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., according to the event website.

In addition, a number of services will be available, including legal services, counseling and resume writing, among others. Business management and social media seminars also will be offered.

More than 600 job seekers are expected to attend. Register for the free event in advance and find additional information at www.wrcommunityexpo.eventbrite.com. The event is put on by SolidHires and Military Spouse Connections.
