Bibb County deputies arrested a Warner Robins man Saturday night, accusing him of stealing jewelry and items from homes that his girlfriends cleaning service was cleaning.
Blaine Ashley Hellwig, 31, would tagalong with his girlfriend, Corrie Bradbury, owner of Interior Cleaning, as she cleaned homes in the north Bibb County area, according to a sheriffs office news release.
As Bradbury was occupied with her cleaning duties, Hellwig is accused of going through the homes and stealing.
Investigators said they believe Hellwig acted alone during the alleged thefts, the news release stated.
Hellwig was booked into Bibb County jail and posted a $8,450 bond Tuesday.
Investigators recovered 15 pounds of stolen jewelry, old coins and flatware, and Bradburys clients are being contacted so the items can be returned, according to the release.
Clients of Interior Cleaning who have discovered that items are missing from their homes are asked to contact investigator Jack Cleveland at 478-621-5650.
