WARNER ROBINS -- All Perry and Centerville incumbents up for re-election have officially entered their races, and so far none face opposition.
The second day of qualifying Tuesday was much slower than the first, with just a handful of candidates around Houston and Peach counties signing up for the Nov. 5 election.
The seat for mayor is open in Warner Robins, Centerville, Perry and Fort Valley, along with a number of council positions in those cities and Byron. Fort Valley residents also will elect two utility commissioners.
Qualifying ends Friday at 4:30 p.m.
