A conditional-use permit to allow outdoor display and sales at a store was approved Monday by the Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission.
The permit was for Yazoo Trading Co., a new division of Freds that used to occupy the same 16,450-square-foot space at 6109 Houston Road. The store opened recently with the new name.
Scott Daniel, representing Yazoo, said the store would display on the covered sidewalk items such as rakes, potting soil and push lawn mowers. Merchandise would be taken inside the store overnight.
The store also features hardware, auto supplies and pet food and supplies.
